Both are competency-based, nationally recognised qualifications issued by Pro Adventures RTO Pty Ltd (RTO 31105). Each is normally studied alongside a scuba diving rating, which the diving agency certifies separately.

Our policies, refund terms and enrolment forms set out your rights and obligations, complaints and appeals, credit transfer and recognition of prior learning, and the support available to you. Completion depends on meeting the competency requirements of the qualification.
If you have a passion for the ocean, travel, leadership, recreation, tourism, education, maritime and retail, you are in the right place. Pro Adventures trains people towards work as scuba diving professionals, through qualifications that also carry into industries beyond the water.
On successful completion you are issued a nationally recognised qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework. Students who also meet the diving agency's own requirements can gain an international instructor rating, which the agency issues separately. Some people come to us to start a career. Some come for a fun, action-packed gap year.
